Alert: Message for all of our patients

Dr Kandola and both Dr B Ratti and Dr R Ratti returned to Great Barr Medical Centre on 4th February. Dr R Ratti has now left the surgery, and we wish her all the very best in her new venture. They have all worked closely with the ICB and the CQC who have welcomed and supported their new action plan. The Doctors appreciate all of the support and kind words they have received from the patients and look forward to seeing you very soon.

Over the next few weeks, we are changing the way we offer our appointments.

We will be offering a triage based service, which will ensure that your call to us is triaged by a clinician. This means that our service will be an individual, needs led, rather than a 'first come, first served' system.

We may direct you to a new service, 'Pharmacy First', where you can be seen by a Clinical Pharmacist, or we may offer you an appointment with an appropriate clinician at the surgery. We are working with the Pharmacist to create more appointments to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and reduce the waiting time to access services.

We are asking patients not to queue outside the surgery at 08:00 hrs as an appointment may not be guaranteed. Please call the surgery for on the day appointments to allow us to utilise our triaging services.
